Sunset City needed a new site that was up to date and easy to use. A lot of their citizens use the online portals to pay their bills online, and get info about fees and restrictions. A calendar feature on the site also allows people to stay up to date with everything going on in the city and get info on how to participate in their various events.
City Events
The calendar feature allowed citizens to stay up to date on important upcoming events. Big community events were shown on the home page (Depicted in this section).
Clicking on the “View all events” button opened up to a larger page with a full calendar on it. This calendar had all the community events on it, from garbage pick up to city council meetings.
Keeping Citizens Informed
A blog section was added to the home page where citizens could stay up to date on the most recent community news.
